How to Face Up to Section 4 of the IELTS Listening Test-Esiri Dennis Tohabru.

The last section of the listening test module- that is, section 4 of the IELTS test, is one test that the majority of the overseas-bound candidates are having some difficult time handling. This test which is more often than not presented as a lecture is becoming a thorn in the flesh of the IELTS test takers. The test takers suddenly see it as a reoccurring problem, which eventually has prevented them from actualizing their travel dreams. If the more serious candidates can overturn some of the difficulties mentioned below, they have the sureness to earn higher marks. No matter the nature of lecture encountered, in section 4 then, the much elusive marks would have been earned.
1. Where Do You Think   I  Am?
Most students get overwhelmed right in the middle of the lecture presentation on test dayOften, they are not sure of the paragraph or the passage the speaker is talking aboutThey are not always on the same page with the narrator. Sometimes, they assume the answer to a particular question only to find out that the answer cannot match the gap available for a complete thoughtIn the end, they are humiliated and troubled to the extent that they will start pouring expletives on IELTS in general, and the narrator in particular for their massive failureIn the IELTS test, these type of students do not prepare for the test in any way, taking tutorials to them is out of the questionI hope you are not preparing to fall into this category of IELTS test takers.
2. Introductory  Sentence  Vs  Idea  Sentences
Many candidates miss the point of view presented right from the outsetThese set of IELTS candidates cannot distinguish between an introductory paragraph and the main idea paragraphIn fact, don’t even attempt to ask them that question because they will hate you for that, the same way people blame the devil for their misfortuneThis lack of understanding exhibited by the test takers throws them off-balance such that they end up guessing answers to the listening test. These type of students assume they know the English structure more than you, therefore, you don’t need to teach them.

3. I Have The Compass

Some students, however, are smart test takers. They tend to picture how the lecture will be presented in their mind’s eye when they are asked to first take a look at the questions to attempt. Although these recalcitrant students score between 5 or 6 marks out of probably 10 questions, they manage to understand in their own parochial way how to tackle paragraphs of this nature. These type of candidates are good at studying at home all the time. They assume that paying an instructor for tutorials is a bloody waste of timeThey usually end up with mediocre overall band scores.

4. I know My Destination

Few test takers writing the IELTS exam are good at anticipating and answering the questionsThese candidates are able to use mapping to understand how the speaker structured the whole article or lecture noteAlso, these group of students actually guess answers as they combine many skills which they have to learn to skillfully overcome the creativity of the IELTS examiners. These are the students that took the time to prepare by enrolling for quality tutorials because the key to passing the dreaded IELTS exam will have been exposed finally.
5. Conclusion
Looking at the categories of IELTS test-takers, it is obvious the group you would like to belong toActually, the last group of students is those we have taken quality time to trainThey can not disappointThey know what is at stake, therefore, they are not prepared to pay cheaply to get the best. The better the price you pay for the tutorials, the better the quality of life you get by the end of the day.

  8. My wife and i, needed a tutorial for the "IELTS TEST". Fortunately we came across Mr Dennis Esiri Tohabru, despite living far from us he still made it to our residence to give us lectures with numerous practise questions that will last us throughout the whole week and not stopping there. He still calls, chat with us on Whatsapp to make sure we are not having any difficulty, Above all he still supported us with prayers. We did Mock test before the D day, he was anxious to know our results and he kept on telling us not to be Jittery that he has Faith in us that we are definitely going to come out in flying colours and to GOD BE THE GLORY, We didn't disappoint him. We called him to appreciate his effort. We won't hesitate to recommend him to anyone that need his service.

GOD BLESS AND ENLARGE YOU MR DENNIS ESIRI TOHABRU THE IELTS TUTOR.
